The Russian Defense Ministry has published footage of the combat work of the crews of the 203-mm Pion self-propelled artillery mounts during a special operation in Ukraine. Artillerymen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to carry out fire missions to destroy firing positions of artillery and anti-aircraft missile systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the special operation, "Peonies" revealed the location of enemy positions and delivered accurate strikes at designated targets at long ranges. The Russian servicemen destroyed the equipped firing positions and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fortified in the forest.
After firing, the battery moved to spare positions to exclude the possibility of a retaliatory strike.
Previously, footage of a strike on Ukrainian positions from the Hyacinths in Severodonetsk was published. In the administrative building, the enemy equipped a strong point from which he conducted fire adjustments.
